6'1" blonde spitfire Terri Mateer tells her life story of becoming a pro basketball player in France. The remarkable one-woman show, "A Kind Shot", dribbles across New York's Barrow Group Studio Theatre as Mateer recounts what was, and what could have been. Raised by a single, hippie mom, an African American surrogate father steps in and teaches Terri how to play the game. Clearing six feet in sixth grade, she's a natural, but dreams of becoming an architect. Terri's unbelievable journey includes playing pro ball, modeling, stripping, designing Michael Jordan's headboard and taking lots of shots at life.
